Richard Paré

Having graduated from Université Laval in mechanical engineering in 2002, Richard has several years of experience in mechanical design combined with industrial design.

He began his career at Stryker Medical as a Mechanical Designer. He quickly rose in the company’s ranks to become Senior Engineer and distinguished himself in the field of finite element analysis (FEA) by introducing this discipline and several other virtual technologies to the R&D team.

He joined the ALTO team in 2006 as Project Manager and Head Engineer. He contributed his expertise in FEA as well as his knowledge of manufacturing processes to the Engineering team.

His understanding of the close link between industrial design and engineering led him to head up the Engineering team in 2007 as Vice-President, Engineering and become an Alto partner in 2010. Through his initiative, ALTO began carrying out R&D projects and, in 2015, the ALTO Lab was created.
