The reinforced fibreglass resin structure is very rigid, while the more flexible basket can withstand impacts and keep its shape. The cart is light and easy to handle, rolls much more quietly and is not susceptible to rust.
The use of plastic resins is relatively recent in the manufacture of shopping carts, traditionally made using steel rods. This first model developed for a major North American manufacturer can be found in several big box stores such as Réno-Dépôt, Super C, Marcil, etc.
We made sure that every opening in the cart met the most stringent safety standards to prevent a child’s hand or arm from getting caught.
