Our role as designers was to create an emotional connection between users and the brand through a positive product experience.

The new brand identity conveyed the concepts of hygiene and well-being, and these served as points of departure for the makeover of the various dispensers.

A comprehensive semantic approach helped pinpoint the most promising areas in the competitive environment and identified the various formal supports we should employ. These supports were then translated into the various components, generating the visual language employed in the development phase.

The resulting design expresses the concepts of hygiene and cleanliness through the round-edged rectangular outlines of the dispensers, as well as lightness and well-being suggested by the blue-coloured and transparent details.

The product line’s simple, streamlined aesthetics allow every unit to settle easily into its environment and become a familiar, permanent fixture.

The translucent centre stripe guides the user’s eye toward the paper outlet. Combined with the see-through upper window, this also makes it easy to check when it’s time to refill, without having to open the unit.

To help replace paper rolls quickly and intuitively, we completely revised the internal colour scheme.

The working parts, with their distinctive colours, immediately attract the user’s attention.

The mechanism for opening the case gives users two options. They can either press a simple push button, or else unlock it with a universal key.

This system provides a security option without sacrificing ease of use.

To match any interior design, the new Tandem dispenser models are available in bright white or cool dark grey.
