For a second time in four years, a project by ALTO Design has won major international recognition with a Red Dot Award for outstanding design.<\/p>\n

Following a win for CAE Healthcare surgical simulators in 2013, the GenePOC Revogene system has earned ALTO a Best of the Best distinction, the most prestigious award among the Red Dot’s. Among all previous winners, only one other Canadian firm has received this award.<\/p>\n

What especially impressed the jury was a design approach to an easy, intuitive user experience. Behind the elegant look and amazingly simple user interface, is a powerful medical tool capable of analyzing many types of infections in just 70 minutes \u2013 a complex task that used to take up to several hours. By providing a simple, compact, and portable solution, the Revogene system brings an entire lab directly to the patient.<\/p>\n
