Advanced Research Technologies (GE Healthcare)

Detection, diagnosis and characterization device for breast diseases.

The SoftScan is a medical imaging device designed to improve the diagnosis of breast cancer.

The technology greatly improves patient experience as the breast is suspended in liquid bath technology which required a particular product architecture where the patient is elevated compared to the clinician.

This novel way to image breast cancer through light absorption offers the opportunity for a rapid diagnosis.

The ergonomic patient interface is designed to provide a respectful and comfortable position during treatment. The entire device separates into modules in order to be able to circulate easily in a hospital.
