Mario Gagnon elected to the ICSID board of directors

During the last ICSID (International Council of Societies of Industrial Design) general assembly held in Montreal last November, Mario Gagnon was elected to the board of directors as representative of the Canadian association. The board is composed of 11 members including the president and president elect. The representatives for this 2-year term originate from several countries including South Korea, Germany, Australia, Japan, Taiwan, Italy and South Africa.

ICSID is a non-profit organisation that protects and promotes the interests of the profession of industrial design. Founded in 1957, ICSID serves as a unified voice of over 50 nations through which members can express their views and be heard on an international platform. Since its inception, it has continued to develop its wide-reaching network of students and professionals devoted to the recognition, success and growth of the industrial design community.
