Revogene
A revolutionary automated device capable of conducting microbial tests and rapidly diagnosing patients at point of care
In the context of daily clinical practice, laboratory test results often need to be obtained quickly to plan the next therapeutic steps. Based on an innovative centrifugal technology platform, the Revogene system can produce microbial test results in just 70 minutes.
This system allows testing of a wide range of biological samples directly at the point of care. It consists of a single instrument that accepts single-use cartridges, called PIE, which are designed to target specific infections.
Device operation
The instrument operates by safely executing a defined set of cycling conditions that activate the chemical components of the cartridge to analyze the sample. The results are displayed on the screen once the analysis is complete. You can perform up to eight tests simultaneously for different infections. This sophisticated device, both in form and function, has been designed to simplify the workflow and the handling of samples for analysis.
The user interface is logically arranged to promote safe and intuitive use. An integrated LED ring in the opaque cover provides visual support to indicate the progress of the analysis cycle. With a professional and attractive appearance, the device offers new possibilities for testing and analyzing samples, thereby contributing to saving lives by bringing the laboratory to the patient.
